What if I told you that you could get some really good plugins, for free? I am Morpheus. I mean Dylan. Let's see how far down this free rabbit hole really goes. Every single one of these is free.

01mLightDiffuse (MotionVFX)

Found in your effects folder, this one comes with 6 look options that add anamorphic light streaks, flares, and a bit of halation over the brightest parts of your shot. The best part: you just throw it on and it automatically identifies the brightest areas, no keyframing needed, and every option is super customizable.

02Andy's Swish Transitions (FX Factory)

In your transitions folder, this pack gives you two blurring transitions to move from shot one to shot two. I've found that leaving them at the default duration gives the best look overall.

03Ryan Nangle's Motion Blur

Six drag-and-drop motion blur titles from the homie Ryan Nangle, in your titles folder. Drag one over your footage and it adds blur to the fastest-moving things in your shot, which is great for natural motion blur on simple animations (like I use in my tutorials) or on sped-up hyperlapses.

04mVertigo (MotionVFX)

Four drag-and-drop titles that quickly create the Vertigo effect you've seen in tons of movies and YouTube videos. Throw one over your footage, adjust the on-screen controls, and you're done, no keyframes.

055 Free Titles (Simple Video Making)

A variety of simple title options. Some look a little funky out of the gate, but a quick tweak sorts them out, and best of all they cost zero dollars.

06Final Cut Bro Adjustment Layers

From my good buddy Dylan, also known as the Final Cut Bro. Three adjustment layers of different lengths. Drag one over your footage and any change you make to that layer affects all the media underneath it, so stretch it over your whole project, add a quick grade or a LUT, and it hits every clip below. You can also add effects, scale all your media up, and more.

07mLUT (MotionVFX)

In your effects folder, mLUT lets you adjust levels, slide in contrast and saturation, and add customizable film grain, but it's also a full LUT library. Load all the LUTs you've bought, grab MotionVFX ones easily, and organize them into categories and favorites in the preset panel.

08Ryan Nangle's Smooth Slide Transition

Another one from Ryan, a smooth, crisp slide transition. The only downside is there's just one in the free pack, but it might be the only one you ever need.

09mCamRig (MotionVFX)

This one automatically animates photos and videos. Ever seen YouTubers or ads make pictures or website screen recordings look 3D? That's this. It'd be killer for documentary work when you're showing photos or maps.

10mMatrix (MotionVFX)

Surprisingly free, mMatrix comes with a moving Matrix-style background, 6 drag-and-drop effects, a LUT you can drag right onto your footage, two titles, two lower thirds, and 5 Matrix-style transitions. All of it, free.
